About Me

Started off with the Fujica STX-1 as a kid and I got hooked on photography ever since.  Over the years, I've changed several camera systems starting with the Nikon FG-20, followed by the Pentax SFX, Canon 630, Canon EOS 5, Nikon F4S, F4E, F401, F601, Sony F505, Minolta Dimage 5Hi, Nikon D100, Nikon D200, Canon 7D, Nikon D2X, Canon 6D, Panasonic LX3, GXF1, Olympus OMD EM5, EM1, Pen EP5,  720SW, Stylus 1, Nikon D3, Nikon D5, Canon 1DX, 1DXii, plus a lot of other cameras I can't remember.  

I was even crazy enough to convert one of my toilet as a darkroom in the mid-80s and got a Durst M670 enlarger with a Jobo CPE2+ processing drum to develop my own negatives and photos before splurging on the World's First Colour Inkjet, the Epson Stylus Colour printer in 1994 after I got my first digital camera.

Although I still have my Canon, Nikon & Olympus gear, my current go-to gear are my Leica cameras comprising the new Leica SL3 (Mar 2024), SL2, SL2-S, CL, Q2, Sofort, V-Lux5 and the limited edition Leica T(100th Jahre).  

This is complemented by the Summicron SL 50mm ASPH, TL 11-23, 18-56, 55-135, SL 16-35, 24-90,  90-280, Ttartisan 11mm Fisheye, Canon EF600mm, two SF64, SF40 and the rare Leica Trica 1.

Attended a few Photoshop Masterclasses locally as well as in US and have been giving it back to the society by volunteering to teach other photography enthusiasts how to use Photoshop at my Community Centre.
